Raspberries, Blackcurrants and blueberries are all pressed the same day as they are picked. They are ripe in august, which is the busiest month for us. Pears and apples are pressed in autumn when the hostel is closed.
We press a total of 3000 kgs of berries and 15000 kgs of fruits each year. The work is very manual. Blackcurrants and Blueberries are grinded on a grape grinder before squeezed on the pack press.
Once the juice is pasteurized it is tapped directly on 0,33 l bottles and 3 and 5 liter bag-in-box.
